Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (Mitsubishi) has prepared the latest generation of the legendary sports sedan Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (Evo).
Interestingly, the latest variant of the Evo's use hybrid diesel engine, this car is no longer as a result of fuel greedy.
"Future generations Lancer Evo is a hybrid vehicle. The project work will be done this car next year and within three years of a sports sedan that is ready," said CEO of Mitsubishi, Asamu Masuko, told Autocar, Monday, October 24, 2011.
Although the use of diesel engines with electric motors, do not make this car considered trivial matter of speed. The reason according to Autocar, Evo Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in a matter of less than 5 seconds.
If that were true, it means that the vehicle does not disappoint in terms of speed. Surely this will make the Lancer Evo as an environmentally friendly sports sedan.
Last Lancer Evolution models on the market today is the Mitsubishi Evo X. Tenth-generation concept car was first introduced in 2005 and began to be marketed in Japan in 2007.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is an icon for Mitsubishi. Since it was first made in 1992, the car had been incised brilliant achievement in the racing arena, especially in the World Rally Championship.
