Acura RSX ?

Does anyone know if Acura is coming out with the RSX in 2009? Because I know it was discontinued since it was so similar to the New Honda Civic but they said that they might bring it back on the market in 2009...?

No, they won't. If they bring it back, it will take at least another 3 years.
Designing and building a new car takes years.
But for now, they do not plan to bring it back.
The Honda Prelude was replaced with the Accord Coupe and they never brought back the prelude.

acura RSX?

is an acura rsx a good starter car for teenagers?
i want one but im hearing people saying things about the transmission...is that problem only for the manual transmission ones?
i am considering getting a automatic one(im not that crazy about manual)...&
i know the 2006 one comes in automatic,but what about the previous years 2002-2005 (excluding the type s)
and if you own one, please tell me about your experiences with this car:)

I think the rsx is a great option for teens. Its a hatch with a good amount of trunk space, gets good fuel mileage, and is pretty preppy. It also looks awesome. The auto tranny's dont have any known issues and some of the 6 spd type s manual trannies have some known second/third gear issues. I never had issues on mine though.

Warning though, insurance is higher than normal for these cars.. Quiet a bit higher..

does anyone know where i can get a repair manual for the acura rsx. like the rsx 2002 to 2006 model, type r or type s. and how much would it cost if i were to get one that's in a pretty bad condition, with nearly everything broken, cuz i want to fix it up. oh and how much would the insurance cost. thx alot
RSX aside, anyone know of pre-owned 2002-2004 subaru wrx sti, price and any additional thoughts. thx
