Is the Acura TL Type-s upgrade owning cost worth it?

Im going to buy an acura tl and i wouldnt mind getting a tl type s, my question is if i can get a type -s for the same price as a regular acura tl should i get it? i know gas mileage is a little lower and insurance cost is higher so is are those owning costs for a type s a big difference from a regular tl? someone who has a type s are you paying a lot of insurance if so how much more than if it were regular?

Help me choose between 2 cars both Acura TL Type S.?

I'm debating between 2 exact model cars (2003 Acura TL Type S) for the same price...mind you all I have 2 boys (4 & 7 yrs old)

The differences are:

Car #1 - Tan interior, Wood Trim, Navigation, 75K miles, Non-Tinted Windows, 1 carfax accident report, drives smooth, a/c works great, stock tires.

Car #2 - Black interior, marble Trim, 71K miles, Tinted windows, 0 carfax accident report, strut/spring makes noise (Dealer currently fixing the problem), a/c works pretty well, rear windows slightly tinted (I prefer a darker tint), 18" chrome aftermarket wheels (1 rusted)

Both dealership is REALLY trying 2 sell me their cars, but I need a unanimous decision by tomorrow evening. I really like the black on black because it matches, but seems like the car has some mechanical issues.

Wow, seems like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'd go with neither. The first one was in a wreck and cars never drive the same after an accident. The second one was probably "modded" which means it was likely driven hard which is another bad sign. I'd avoid both.

the prices that i know are:
Acura tl type s = about 35.000
mercy s350 = about 41.000
accord coupe v6 '08 = about 31,000

Well the Merc is the best. I think you mean a "C350" because they don't make an S350. I'd chose something else out of those three cars if I was in that price range. I'd go G37, M35, or a used A8 or a CTS

i want a better car than acura TL type S?

my brother has an acura TL type s with everyting on it gps xm radio bluetooth etc... i want to get a similar car but one that is faster and more luxurious but around the same price which was about $38,000 with everything on it thanks for your help

The G35 is the only car that is close at that price. It has the advantage of RWD handling characteristics, but is probably not much faster, and not any more luxurious either. If you want a nicer, faster sedan, you'll have to pay more - it's that simple.

If you're willing to spend the extra cash - the previously mentioned 330i is worth considering, and also an M45 (has a V8).

If you're not willing to spend the extra and still want to keep it around 38k or less - consider a certified preowned BMW.

possibly buying an 06 Acura Tl?

There's an 06 Acura TL A-spec for sale that I want really bad. It has 23000 miles on it and the dealer wants 25,998 for it. It's not at an acura dealership. Would it be possible to talk them down to 24k or less? This fall acura is coming out with an all new TL. Will that make the current TL less expensive?

Offer $21,000 and work up from there. Don't expect to get that price but don't ever pay what they ask. It's a buyer's market and that leverage is yours to use.
