I live in vancouver canada, a friend told me that if i wanted to trade my integra i should go to an acura dealer because right now they are actually looking for older integra models and would like to trade for them? Does anyone know if this is true? Or if Acura has any kind of special deal towards trading an integra?

I have a 2001 Acura 3.2 cl-s, with 128k km's. Am i still covered under Acura's transmission extended warranty?

I am aware that this particular model has automatic transmission problems. I was advised that the dealer will replace the tranny for free if its under 100000miles/160000km's. My car is only at 128k km's, and i live in Canada. Will the dealer replace the tranny free of charge?

An associate of mine has the same car. Call the Acura dealer. They were very helpful. New transmission was free and so was the labor and he got a loaner at no charge. Apparently, the internal lubrication mechanism was not installed or engineered correctly, which could lead to a "lock-up" at speed. Not good.

Which used car to buy out of these?

I live in Canada so the weather here in the winter is cold and it can snow up to 10 cm on some days. I have a fixed budget of $8300 (Canadian dollars).

I would highly recommend getting the Mazda 3. Hondas, Acuras, and Volkswagens are not as reliable as Mazda.

1996 Acura Integra radio code? Please help!?

Please don't tell me to go to a dealer! The one near where I live is actually charging me! I am not the original owner and I don't have the service manual, and I don't see any sticker on the glove compartment or anywhere in the interior.

I've seen on many honda/acura forums, however, that people just give someone their serial number (mines is PF 50144) and some guy responds in the forum with the code. How are they getting this code? Does someone have the ability to get this code for me? Or if not, do you know who can?

Please help I don't wanna go through all the work of joining a forum i'm not interested in. Thank you!!

Take your serial number and call 865-218-5410 and ask for a service adviser. That's my local Honda dealer and they can give you the radio code over the phone no charge. Any Honda or Acura dealer can look it up on their service website

I know uve heard to go to the dealer..but that is the place to go. People loose their code all the time, so thats why they charge. Whats so bad about that? Seems like you want other people to do all the work for u. If u dont want to pay a dealership, then fill out some things online to join a forum so that u can get it at no cost. If not, just get an alpine deck and never ever have to worry about it again.

Buying an acura integra for a project car. Need help.?

ok so i'm looking into buying an acura integra for a project car. I don't quite know what year yet but any with the 4 headlights. That's my favorite body style. I don't know what trim either. I can't afford a type r so that's out of the question. i was thinking getting a gsr with alot of miles and getting it rebuilt so it's more efficient and getting new parts to replace the stock ones. (such as cams and pistons ect,) But i don't know how to go about getting it rebuilt or what i need to do to make sure i don't get ripped off. i'm new to this and have done some research but this is something i really want to do. I don't know the specific name brands i should get or what they are called. I was reading up on some forums and i've heard that the b18c5 is a good motor. but my goal is to have a turbo charged integra that is pushing 300hp at the wheels if possible. I would also like to know about suspension and handling if you can help me with that. cambering the wheels, clutch kits, all that good stuff. stage kits also. exhaust would be nice. (what kind should i get and how should it be done. what the price range is) i would also like to know the price for anything if you have it. thanks for your help.

I'm driving a 94 Integra Coupe LS (the kind with the four headlights) You should be able to find one for cheap. Why buy a GSR if you're just going to replace rebuild everything?

I am constantly checking with autotrader.com and cars.com for a 2005 Acura MDX with Navigation and Rear Entertainment (DVD player) package under $17,500.00. Within 300 miles of Panama City Beach, FL 32407.

My color choices are 1. White with tan (not saddle) interior 2. Light Blue with gray interior 3. Red (Maroon) with tan (not saddle) interior

If you don't have one for sale, Do you know of any other sites I may want to check out?

Which vehicle to purchase?

hello all,

I saw 2 Acura MDX for sale at similar price and year.
One is a 2003 MDX with 90,000mile on it (very clean) selling for $9,000.00
the other one is a 2004 MDX with 112,000 on it (not sure) selling for $9,000.00 as well.
Which would be a better purchase ? Please advise.

The 04 will likely have some additional features on it that make it "better" than the 03 (blue tooth maybe?) I dont know enough about the MDX to know for sure what is different between 03 and 04, but Acura and Lexus try to keep their models ontop of the Technology Trends and when the next year comes out, it will likely have 1 or 2 features the previous year did not.

Check out any of the changes from a car website like edmunds or cars.com and then determine if that change is worth 22,000 miles (basically 1 year of driving).

Can't decide between an Acura mdx, Q7, and Q5?

I just stopped by the car dealers bc I wanted to check out the 2 cars I have in mind: 2011 Acura MDX and Audi q7.
I like the Acura bc of it's reliability and modern style. It also feels roomy and luxurious but sporty at the same time. The prob is I heard mdx is going to glhave a face lift for 2013 and right now I not to fond of the shield grill style. I'm thinking about the mdx advantage in black. But I don't like how it's such a common car bc all my friends have it.
I love the Audi's grill and led headlights and the fact that they change to a V6 engine!! Downside it's it looks alittle too long and the price for the top of the line(s line) prestige is starting at 63k!!
That was my first choice other than the Acura. It's not as high tech but definitely feel a big difference when u sit in one. A very high class and luxury feeling!
The the sale pointed out the Q5 s line which was smaller and compact. It felt nice sitting in one with the panoramic sun roof. I was also told it was top of it's line. But downside is it's a bit smaller compared to q7 and MDX.:( the price is equivalent to mdx tho.
Any suggestions on why I should buy one over the other. Is q7 too big for a female?

Your decision should be based on what you will use the vehicle for. I have test driven the Q5 and love the ride. Do you need third row seating? Room for more than groceries? How many passengers will you be driving on a regular basis? Those should be the questions you ask yourself and once you answer them you will chose the correct one.

How much more is a used car worth with custom wheels?

We are looking to sale our 2003 Acura MDX. We can't find what any private parties are asking in our area (Oregon) but dealers are asking for about $16,500 for comparable MDXs. Ours has 20" boss chrome wheels (retails around $2000) and we just replaced all 4 tires with $150 all terrain tires last month. We were thinking the private saler's value was probably around $14,000 but how much more can we expect to get since we have the nice wheels on it?

How to program a 2009 Acura TSX key?

How can you program a 2009 acura tsx key (memory 1)? The dealer price is $130. Is there any way that I can do it by myself? Or for cheaper?

I work at an Acura dealer in PA. There is absolutlely no way for you to program that key by yourself. It has to be sync'd to the car with Honda's scan tool. You could buy the scan tool for a few grand if you want... But i doubt honda would sell you one anyways

And to that locksmith guy below me, no a local locksmith will absolutely NOT be able to program one of the new keys for an acura. Honda has very specific programs and protocols that must be met before the PCM will accept a new key. Honda has not released any of these computer protocols to any other company. Might work for a Honda thats a few years old but definatly not for a brand new 2009. I'll put a 100% guarantee on that.
