Depends what model. The TL and MDX are wonderful cars that are great new or used. I have a friend who bought a TSX certified used and has had nothing but problems.

To say the least, you are better off with a Lexus.

What is the most reliable brand of used cars to buy? Mercedes? Acura?

What about heavy duty commercial fleet, such as police cars, limos etc

Im not a huger fan of toyota (mainly cuz im an old school american muscle type) but they do hold their value much better than most other brands. They tend to last for more mileage and parts are relatively cheap. Honda is another brand that tends to hold its value better than say american cars (ford doge and gmc)

if you do go for american made car (even commercial fleet) i think that chevy/gmc is the best bet due simply to the price of replacement parts. I have owned ford and currently own a dodge and prices on parts are sky high. Not to mention that if your looking for performance parts you will find much more variety and performance ranges for a chevy.

Also if you want reliability you need to remember that the more electronic devices a vehicle has the more chances of things wearing out and needing replaced. And the big problem when you get into say Jaguar and luxury/high tech brands like them you actually need to take the vehicle to shops that specialise in that particular car.

Do you have any ideas about the 1992 Acura Legend used car with 165,000k miles?

My friend's offerring me with the price $2500. He said the car is still in good condittion now and I will have one week for trying before making desision. Should I try it? please give me your advice. Thanks so much

Like I answered on your other question, No more that $2,500. Acura is by far one of the most reliable cars and will last you a life time as long as you maintain it properly.
