Mark asks…
Used Acura RDX vs. New Honda CRV?
I can afford both and I don't really care about the performance, it's just the badge and design of the Acura, but realistically and everyday practicality, which one is better?
admin answers:
If you wait until the end of 2010 when the 2011 Acura RDXs come out you can get a HUGE discount on one. It is still new, even though the 2011s are out.
Lisa asks…
what oil does acura rdx use?
how many quarts?
admin answers:
Any 5W-30 oil (Mobil 1 is the best but not required). Takes 5 quarts since not changing the oil filter just lets all the containments back into the new oil.
Since the RDX is turbo-ed your best bet is going to be getting a 6 quart box of Mobil 1 over at Walmart.
Mandy asks…
how much is too much to pay for a used car payment?
if i get a used 2008 acura rdx with no more than 30,000 miles on it, how much would be too much to pay per month?
admin answers:
How much are you paying for the car? Is it a fair price (check with www.kbb.com)? How much down payment are you making? What will be your interest rate (depends on your credit score)? How long will the loan be (in months)?
You can get the answer to your question by plugging these numbers into a car loan calculator. Here's one you can use:

Carol asks…
can you use regular gasline on Acura RDX?
admin answers:
No it requires premium because it is turbocharged. If you put regular in, the knock sensor will start to go off and your car will retard the timing and you will have poor performance. That poor performance will get you less gas mileage and in the end you will lose the money you tried to save. No engine damage will result because your engine knows how to react but it will only cost you more. You bought a RDX, obviously you have money. 20 cents more per gallon will not break your wallet
