Questions About Acura Austin

Carol asks…

Market Cash Value of Acura TSX in austin texas?

I was wondering if any one would know the actual market cash value of an 2006 acura tsx with 35,500 miles? It is in EXCELLENT condition- so excellent there isn't a wrinkle from a butt sitting in the back leather seats. It has all the goodies that come in an acura tsx-xenon lights, heated leather seats, maintenance minder, garage door opener, 6-disc changer, moon roof, blue tooth wireless etc... The only addition to it is a rear spoiler.
Kelly Blue book values : Private party: 20,295
Trade In: 18,125

NADA value it at: Clean Retail: 18,900
Trade In: 15, 925

* Everyone says NADA is the most TRUSTED one and don't go by KBB value, but NADA doesn't even allow you to put in any ADDITIONAL add-ins like rear spoiler or upgrades wheels. Why is that?

I can't seem to figure out what the ACTUAL cash value of it is. Can anyone help me?

**Note: My car was totaled, and now I'm seeing what the actual value of my car is so the insurance doesn't try to low-ball me.

admin answers:

Someone I know recently had their 06 tsx totaled in Flagstaff, Arizona. They said their car was in excellent condition with special wheels and other mods. The insurance co. Does not pay for mods. He received $16,650.00 and the car had about the same mileage as your car. He had to fight with them to get that amount.

George asks…

Why is used cars are cheaper in Houston, TX than Austin, TX?

I am in the process of looking for a used car. As I was searching for Acura TL or TSX, the pricing in Houston, Texas is quite lower than in Austin, TX. I could get a newer model with less miles and still it would be cheaper. So, I wonder why is that the case?

admin answers:

I doubt they really are. Your sample size is too small.

Mary asks…

Would you like to see Samoa Joe in the WWE? + quick results of NWA's 6th show?

Stone Cold Steve Austin said on twitter i think...that he would like to see Samoa Joe in the WWE when his contract with TNA expires. Samoa Joe is one of Austin's favorite wrestlers right now.

QUICK RESULTS of Nonstop Wrestling Action’s 6th show (July 26, 2011)
Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Next PPV: Barely Legal

Match 1: World Heavyweight Champion Pook S def. OJ Simpson (debut) (5:26)

Summary: Pook was not impressed at all by OJ Simpson’s performance. It seems like he wasn’t trying to defeat Pook at all, just happy to be in the ring with his favorite wrestler. Pook even slapped him to make him angry but that didn’t work. Pook hit him with Pain From Hell and pinned him to end the match.

Match 2: Rated Peep Superstar & BarcaEdge def. Karic Wind & Nuran – 1# contender’s match for the NWA World Tag Team Championships. (7:13)

There was a few times where the talented rookie John Acura would turn things around and get a little bit of offence against Hughes but Hughes proved to be too much. T.J. Schultz was also the weak link in the team, getting squashed by Victor and costing the teams victory by tapping out to Victor.

The match became a triple threat match and all three guys did everything they could to win the match. Chris Anderson than hit Brian with the F5 and pinned him but Luis V stopped the count. Luis and Chris continued to wrestle each other until Luis was able to hit Chris with the Alabama Slam for the 3 count.

Luis V is the new 1# contender for the World Title. After the match, Brian Blade challenged Liam Catterson to a match at Barely Legal and told Liam to put his MITB contract on the line. Liam has yet to respond to Brian’s challenge.
@ Carmelo - Dude...i told you already that NWA is not a popularity contest. Sometimes users have to lose matches even if most people voted for them to win. I just don't think you are ready to win the World Title yet, there are users in NWA that are way better than you at promoing and i think they deserve to be champion before you do. So stop b*tching and cut better promos!!!

admin answers:

I totally think that Samoa Joe should be in the WWE, it just fits (my opinion).

Promo: Last week, oooh last week, I was not only robbed of my dignity, but I also was handcuffed, and EXECUTED from the building. There on out, the Chairman of the NWA called me up to his office and said that I was too much, and he said that if I went overboard like that again, that I would be future endeavored. So I talked to him, and told him that he should give me a title oppurtunity, but he still said no. I wanted a NWA Extreme Championship match, but he said NO. Sure, I've been here for a month, but that won't change the fact, that I deserve an Extreme Championship match, and I HAVE BEEN IN THE BOXING INDUSTRY FOR YEARS, TITLELESS, WORKING MY ASS OFF TO THE BONE! HE TOLD ME NO, HE TOLD ME TO GET OUT OF HIS FUCCKING OFFICE, AND I LEFT WITHOUT A FUCKING TITLE OPPURTUNITY. HOW THE FUCK DID I FEEL AFTER THAT!?!

NWA Announcer: Security! Security!

Promo: IM FUCKING DISRESPECTED AROUND HERE! WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF BEING TAG TEAM CHAMPION IF THERE IS NO FUUCKING DIVISON!!!!!!!! I BEAT 2 MEN IN A HANDICAP MATCH. I BURRIEED THEM TO THEIR GODDAMN GRAVES!!!

*Security comes down the ramp with handcuffs, but Victor Hughes knockouts all of them out.

Promo: YOU THINK YOUR GOING TO MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A FUCKIN FOOL!?!? IM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Victor Hughes walks up the ramp.

Richard asks…

What should i do CAR or BIKE?

I need some input, ok here is my problem i have an Acura RSX that is paid off. I never driven a motorcycle but iam thinking of getting a used Ducati 748 from an uncle whos hooking me up with the price since he bought a Ducati 999s, but i also thinking of upgrading to a Honda S2000. What should i do get a bike or try to sell my RSX and get a S2K (also i will be moving to Austin hopefully to attend Grad school). HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

admin answers:

For wind-in-your-face and ripping through chicanes, an S2K and a sportsbike are somewhat redundant: so, costs aside, you'll not need both, and I guess you've got that digested already. Besides which, the only interesting S2Ks are 2001 or earlier, as they changed from the extremely powerful, high-rpm engine to a torquier one for the relatively (compared with the Japanese) less frenetic drivers in America. I myself made the mistake of getting a 350Z ragtop a few years ago, and now do not put even a thousand miles a year on it because I get the biochemical adjustment I need from a couple of Ducatis parked next to it in the garage.

An RSX is a fun machine that offers comfort, good looks, and Honda reliability. Keep it. It's paid for and should by now be second nature to drive. Austin has hilly country and is a great location for a motorcycle. One of the best riders I know, on or off the track, is from Austin. Also, ragtops are really no fun in the summer because it's generally too hot during the day. With the top up and the AC on, you'll get cool but suffer poor visibility and claustraphobia. As for female companionship, you can do as much in an S2K as you can on the saddle of a 748.

That said, any Ducati superbike will stand you in good stead, and you'll get year-round use from it out there. The 748 is a beautiful machine that is unbelievably stable. However, and this is a big one, it is not an ideal first bike. Try it on for size plenty first, and make sure you like the pronounced racing position with your head down, knees tucked, and most of the weight on your wrists. It is a small machine that has brutal quickness and will get you in trouble in heartbeat. It is also frightfully expensive to repair should you -- and you will -- have a get off.

Want a Ducati? Think about a Monster. It handles the tarmac like any Ducati, has no plastic skin to break and replace, and offers the naked good looks that launched a whole new market in the motorcycle world.
