Acura RSX, reviews?
I was looking to get an Acura RSX, Anyone have any experiences/ reviews for the 5spd or 6spd RSX?

The 5 speed is a base model, the 6 speed is rsx type-s, its stronger than the base and have edgier performance. Ride suffers a bit though.
I never tried the type-s but I can tell you the 5 speed is a great handler for its price. The leather seats however, can be too firm for some, and road noise gets annoying after long rides. Also dont expect any rear seat room, its good for kids and boxes only. Reliability as far as I know is great.
Rsx is a good choice for those looking for a decent ride, and the value really holds up well. Just remember though, the rsx has been discontinued ('06 is the last model), so there's almost no chance to get it new, expect to spend about 19-20 large for an '06.
For similar money you might wanna consider 06 honda civic-si or vw GTI. They both have similar performance (the si even better), while gti offers high quality interior.
If you, by any chance managed to find a new one, you can negotiate to get nice discounts. Since its an 06 and no longer produced, its been on the lot for a while and dealer's having a hard time selling it.

What is the European, specifically British version of the Acura RSX?
And has Top Gear or Jeremy Clarkson ever done a review of it?

Acura RSX base model owners?
I work in the car industry, I do cosmetic paint work. I touch every car you can name, and its very hard to choose one to buy. After months, I have choosen the RSX. I have read every bio on the car, every review, owner review, have emailed owners from those reviews, checked pictures, recalls, autotrader, cars.com, looked at every angle of picture, etc.
I want to know from owners.... what do you think of it? Like it? What is something you don't like about it? Any major issues or items breaking?
I am 38 and to me this is like my CRX reborn again. As I owned a CRX 20 yrs ago when I was 18. So this is like a modern version of that for me. A toy to play with again. Not to rig up like the kids today do, but just to have that toy to cruise in after being stuck in a work truck all day.
I am seeking your opinion of your RSX along with your age if you would. To be exact, I am looking at the Pewter 03' automatic, base. Then I'll build from there.
edit: I can drive a stick fine, I do work in in the car industry. But I live in the city, a stick is not fun at 7mph on a freeway.
I also know of Honda, besides my CRX, have owned 6 Accords over my life. Just don't want no. 7.

I'm a LONG time Honda/Acura owner...
We've had a CRX...got an 8' ladder in it once.
(hee hee...)
I now own an RSX-S...(2002, bought in 2001 first one sold here in n.w. FL)
The only problem in 53,000 mi's is, it ate the ac...(but I suspect the ac was bad from the start, but being a female, repairmen don't listen..)
I think you'd like the S for the more hp...but if you can't drive a std...then I guess the RSX is just fine....
I learned to drive at 15, in a Bug...so I've never owned an auto for a personal car.
I'm 52 (will be 53 this yr !!!)
We had...an Accord (htchbk first model yr out), an Integra (first model yr out) a CRX, another Accord (sedan) and now we own an RSX-S (mine) and a TSX (my husbands...std too...I made him learn to drive one just before we got married..) although he likes autos for traffic when he's in other cities. (he's also 52 and will be 53 this yr.)
