Both are good buys if the description is true!

Charles asks…

How fast are the Police Interceptor Crown Victoria's?

I was just watching a youtube video of a turbo Acura NSX being chased by a Caprice 9C1 patrol car and they hit speeds up to 150mph. The Crown Victoria's couldn't keep up. What are the specs on them? Like HP, TQ, 1/4 times.

Michael asks…

3000gt rv4 or a 91' NSX?

so im currently looking at both a 97' mitsubishi 3000gt rv4...and a 91' Acura NSX. both are manual....both are very sharp looking cars. the 3000gt has the stock twin turbo [comes with the rv4 setup] a set of aftermarket light covers, and a brand new set of 18" enkei racing rims, fire red, tan leather interior, it is a very sharp looking car. the nsx is a onyx black with black leather interior, a honda spec v6 i think, and im not sure if it has turbo on it or not. both of these cars will turn heads on the road no matter what [which is what we all want with our car right?]....and both can put some power down on the road as well. NSX's are VERY hard to come by at the price i found this one for especially for how close it is to where i live.....and the 3000gt is a steal. i just wanted thoughts on which i should maybe put more interest into.....i know it comes down to the driver and how the car feels along with personal preferance but other opinions do help lol. i have not physically seen either car yet except for pictures and videos of the actual cars, but i have talked to both owners via email and phone calls and they say both run great. so whats your opinion? 3000gt rv4.....or a NSX?

Helen asks…

Audi A5? Need info please!?

So I am planning on purchasing a brand new car by the end of winter (beginning of Spring 2010).

And well, I have been shopping around and found some cars I might want to check out.

Top Cars listed for me...

0. 2009 Subaru Legacy Spec B (if they still have it)
1. 2009 Subaru WRX STI
2. 2009 Lexus IS250 with 6 Speed manual (its a 90% no, I talk to lexus and they wont send me one)
3. 2006-2008 Acura TSX with 6 Speed Manual (if I can find one with low mileage a warranty at Acura dealership)
4. 2009-2010 Subaru WRX
5. 1991-2005 Acura NSX (need one with warranty)
6. 2009 Nissan 370Z nismo edition (if I can find one)
7. 2009 Infiniti G37 with 6 Speed manuall

My price range is $35,000 but $45,000 is okay(asking to much).

Just today, I was looking at the Audi Car line to check out the R8 and saw that they have a Coupe!

Its called the Audi A5 or S5??? Im guessing the S5 is faster sinces it was at $56,000 and the A5 was around my price range!

So... if you guys can help give me some info on the A5 that would be nice!

Like.... is it reliable, FWD/RWD/AWD?, How much Horse/Torque, etc...

Just tell me things that I would like to know and may want to buy it cause this car is super sexy!

admin answers:

The A5 is essentially a 2-door version of the A4. Audi has used S and RS to denote sport and super sport versions of their cars for some time so yes, the S5 is the higher performance version.

The A5 can be had (in America) with a 211hp/258lbft 2.0 turbo four cylinder or a 265hp/243lbft 3.2L V6. Both have AWD as standard.
The S5 has a 354hp/325lbft 4.2L V8 and all wheel drive as well.
Audi's are quite reliable but quite expensive to repair when things go wrong. They're great cars and they're a LOT of fun to drive.

As a side note, your list of cars is ALLL over the board. Number 4 isn't even into the 35K range, number 3 isn't even remotely sporty, Number 2 is ignoring the 350 (though lexus doesn't like manual transmissions so... That stinks) and so on.

I vote for number 5 because getting a rare/hard to find car is immensely satisfying but you may have to do more work to find a good one and keep it in good shape than a brand new but lesser car.

Number 7 is great though as an all around vehicle and don't discount the BMW 335i.
